Insurance Policy
  • Insurance is mandatory for all internships.

  • Your university insurance may be valid.

  • Our policy is with Mapfre - the largest insurance company in Spain.

  • The deductible is only 9 Euros. There is no deductible.
    This policy will not cover anything under 9 Euros.

  • Robbery is not covered.

  • Summary of the coverage:

Transport or medical repatriation.   Unlimited
Transport or repatriation of Insured travel companions.   Unlimited
Health assistance and some dentistry up to 60 euros. If cost above 9 € 30.000,00 euros
Travel for a companion of the Insured. Insured admitted to hospital for over 5 days Unlimited
Accommodation for a companion of the Insured. 90.00 €/day Max. 10 days
Extension of stay as a result of illness or accident. 90.00 €/day Max. 10 days
Transport or repatriation of the deceased Insured and travel for a companion.   Unlimited
Emergency travel by the Insured in the event of the death of a relative. Up to 2nd degree Unlimited
Travel for a companion for the Insured. Travel by the Insured in the event of death of a relative 2 people
Emergency travel by the Insured in the event of the hospitalization of a relative. Up to 2nd degree, minimum 1 night hospital admission Unlimited

Delivery of medicines.   Unlimited
Relay of urgent messages.   Unlimited
Delay in the departure of the means of transport. Up to 30.00 €/ period of over 6 hours 120,00 euros
Location and forwarding of luggage.   Unlimited
Compensation for delay of baggage checked in. Original invoices and Certificate of the carrier 120 €/minimum 12 hours
Private third party liability.   60.000,00 euros
